The Boy in the Cardboard Box by Rainee Skinner
A funeral is about to take place in the suburban family home of Johnny, a flamboyant and beguiling
actor most recently from Sydney. His body is in the house and is lying unseen in a cardboard coffin in
the next room. The start time has been delayed and three of Johnny’s friends from different times of
his life meet. They share stories and search for reasons why their friend drank himself to death. They
are feeling angry and guilty and look for comfort and redemption. Much is revealed about Johnny.
Here’s the Thing… by Debra Chalmers
Sisters Amanda and Carolyn didn't expect to have much more than blinding headaches on the morning
after their big night out on the town. But finding a passed out young man on their couch makes you ask
the question...What the hell did you do last night? If only they could remember.
Three Angry Brides by Hugh O’Brien
Four days before three beautiful brides are due to be married at a picturesque church in the Sunshine
Coast Hinterland, they and their grooms are summoned to the church office. The regular minster has
been taken ill and replaced by the feisty Reverend Bruce Hill, a knockabout minster with extreme
views about marriage preparation. Reverend Hill has a strict policy. He will not marry any couples
unless he first tries to split them up. Which, if any, of the couples will like each other enough to still
want to get married after 30 minutes with the crazy Reverend Hill?
