Don't Shoot Me, I'm Only the Piano Player

By David Scheel

As part of his National Tour.

Don't Shoot Me... saw David being dubbed the new Victor Borge very early on in his career, but pure music lovers will not be short-changed, for, when David starts to play a piece seriously, he actually finishes it!

For further details, see the Our Next Production page

Volunteers Thank You Party

The Committee of Noosa Arts Theatre will be throwing a supper party to honour our wonderful and unselfish volunteers who give their time each year to ensure each and every production is of the highest standardFlower Pot graphic

This year the party will include the Inaugural Rod Taylor Memorial Flower Pot Award for the person "who best embodies the spirit of volunteering" (a sort of Volunteer of the Year Award). There will also be several less serious "certificates" for volunteers plus some entertainment to round out the evening. For those who did not know Rod, he was the man in the wheelchair out the front selling programs; a dedicated volunteer with a smile and a friendly word for everyone...well, nearly everyone.

Why is it called the Flower Pot Award? Those who attend will find out on the night; for everyone else the "family friendly" version will be in the newsletter after the party!

We are a community theatre whose aim is to encourage people to become involved in all aspects of theatrical work. You will find more detailed information about our activities by clicking on the links at the top of the page.  These include forthcoming productions, audition dates, membership information, theatre history, contact names and photos of some of our previous shows.

The theatre usually stages five productions each year with a mix of drama, comedy and musicals. We also hold a Festival of One Act Plays which are the three finalists of our own National One Act Playwriting Competition.
