SYNOPSIS:
Inspired by the classic Lewis Carroll tale, Wonderland – A Family Musical Adventure retains the humour, colourful characters, and glorious nonsense of the original. The production transforms the story into a brand-new adventure where curiosity and courage challenge a world rife with rules and regulations.
When Alice follows an unfamiliar path into Wonderland, she finds a place bursting with music, laughter, and impossible surprises. Guided by the enigmatic Cheshire Cat, she encounters an array of unpredictable characters, each one more intriguing than the last. Her most confronting challenge is to stop the Queen of Hearts’ firm desire for order that threatens to drain the colour and magic from Wonderland. Alice must discover whether courage, curiosity, and a little nonsense can put things right.
Brought to life by a stellar cast of highly experienced adult actors and brilliant young talent, Wonderland combines memorable songs, witty comedy, and theatrical spectacle. It is a meaningful, joyful production crafted for seasoned theatregoers and families alike.
