Noosa Arts Theatre’s intimate theatre was originally opened in 1976. It is located at 163 Weyba Road, Noosaville, centrally located between the tourist hot-spots of Hastings St and Gympie Terrace. The theatre seats 122 patrons in high-backed, padded, raked and air-conditioned comfort.
The sheltered courtyard features our licenced bar serving a small selection of beers, quality wines, tea and coffee. It also stocks snacks and soft drinks, catering for our mainhouse and children’s theatre patrons alike.
Free on-street parking is available on either side of Weyba Road and in the AFL grounds next door.
The theatre is served by Route 628 operated by Sunbus. See the Translink website for timetables.
Our box office is open Tuesday to Friday 10am to 2pm and 45 minutes before each performance. To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend purchasing tickets prior to the performance, either by phone (07 5449 9343), counter, or online, where you can choose your seats, and even print your tickets at home.
Noosa Arts Theatre is an accessible venue, with a dedicated wheelchair space, accessible amenities, and a ‘hearing loop’. Please book by phone to ensure availability of the wheelchair space and companion seat. Unfortunately, there is not a disabled parking bay at the theatre.
All patrons are welcome to attend Opening Night at the regular ticket prices.
